Spiritual Care - A Deeper Calling

This month, I (Abram) was commissioned as a lay pastor for Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. It’s both exciting and scary! It's exciting because it's the fulfillment of a dream I've had since I was a child. It's scary because I'm so overloaded with responsibilities. I'm trying to make special time for one-on-one meetings with those who show a spiritual hunger.

Pine Ridge Presbyterian has primarily served homeless people since reopening its doors in 2020. In stepping into a pastoral role, I am better able to meet the spiritual needs of the homeless community and the general Pine Ridge Reservation community.

Iglutheca is a Christian organization. We invite guests to participate in spiritual activities, but we do not apply any pressure or incentivize participation. We are welcoming to people of all faiths and spiritualities. Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church is a separate entity from Iglutheca with its own unique but often complementary mission.
